Hello Everyone,

I ordered generic Cialis from the internet. I am in the US, and the place sending it is India. The USPS package tracking number says it is “Inbound to Customs”, and it’s been there since June 4 ((already 6 days). I don’t have a prescription for it; I really just wanted to try one to see how it works, but the minimum order is 10.

If the package is stuck in “Inbound to Customs” for this long does this mean that I’m in trouble? Does this mean it is being seized? Does this mean I’m going to jail? Will the FBI or DEA come busting into my house? I’m already terrified so if anyone can give an answer with just the facts only without exaggerations, that would be calming even if it is bad news. Thanks.

Rule of thumb: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is….

There is no “generic” Cialis, so any medication claiming to be so is certainly not approved by the FDA. With that in mind, the FDA has some regulations on how it handles such items. See section 9-2 “Coverage of Personal Importation” in the FDA’s Regulatory Procedures Manual (ink provided below). Of particular interest to you would be the “Mail Shipments” subheading.

As other user’s have noted, there’s a good chance that you just got scammed. Such cases are happening at a high enough frequency that the FDA has established a resource center for patients and providers alike. The link is also provided below. Read over the available resources carefully.
