What’s a doctor supposed to do when someone calls about a four hour erection from Cialis?

Just saw a Cialis commercial saying that men should call their doctors if an erection lasts for over four hours.
‘ Wondering what a doctor is supposed to do about that over the phone?
I’ve been on call many a late night for cancer medicine,
but I don’t know what I would advise over the phone for a chronic penile erection.
Is there a medication to reverse the effects of drugs like Cialis?
Perhaps an alpha-adrenergic agonist.
I can’t imagine a surgical procedure to fix this problem.
Maybe Denisedds will see this – she knows some urology.
I could look up priapism, but I thought it would be fun to float this question on YA.

I imagine that it isn’t fun. The problem is that blood gets stuck in the penis (priamrism) causing that long-term and very dangerous (even though possibly funny) condition.

The urologist will stick a needle into the side of the poor bastard’s penis, and then draws blood directly from the cavernosa (aspiration). The same needle is often used to inject a saline solution back into the guy’s penis (irrigation), which can help flush out the remaining blood. Aspiration and irrigation work around 25 percent to 30 percent of the time. Doctors can also inject drugs that constrict the arteries and cut off penile blood flow. These injections are given every few minutes for about an hour.

In rare cases, a really bad erection problem will resist both aspiration, irrigation and drug injections. So now the urologist performs a surgical shunt. This always sounds painful. The simplest type of shunt involves cutting a small hole in the head of the penis, then opening oval windows in the tips of the cavernosa. When the surface incision is closed, the blood trapped in the erectile tissue drains out through the unaffected penile veins. A more involved shunt procedure involves cutting a nearby but unrelated vein and attaching one end of it to the base of the penis.

So my recommendation, also considering that more than 38 men have completely and permanently lost their eyesight? Stay away form the ED treatments.

I took Cialis to get high…?

I have not had a erection for over 4 hours but I do have repeated boners in untimely situations. What should I do? I was told I would get a high that would last just about a half hour. This is the second day of my issue.

Hello

Yes that is the effect of Cialis, it can works and stay in our system till 36 hours. Every men is different and in some men Cialis doesn’t work or for 1 day, 2 days or maybe 3 days.

It’s a potent medicine which improves the erection, in normal men who don’t have ED it can cause uncontrolled erections even when you aren’t aroused.

You should do nothing, because the effect of Cialis will go away for itself. So you know it for the next time, that you should not take it without medical attention.

It has some side effects, but these are different to every men but these is a ED prescription drug and you and other people can’t take like a chewing gum.

I have tried Cialis 5 times and I had the same effects like you,
and it stayed about 3 days in my systems. I had a lot of sex, I have taken it for sexpartys. My best friend has given my the Cialis and Viagra to try it, but before he has make a check up on me. As all was fine he gave me some samples to try it and I must say they really work. I didn’t have any side effects only the hard erections in the unpleasent moments.

I don’t have ED and I’m normal like you with a good sexdrive and sexlife.

So next time be carefully before you take prescription ED drugs without medical attention.

Sometimes it goes good, but it can happen that something can get wrong or that you will have priapism a erection which can last to 4 hours or more. This is not a joke and to take serious.

You must think about it and find the right decision for yourself.

Can you build up tolerance to cialis or viagra from long term use?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried cialis or viagra long term (maybe 6 months or so) and has built up a tolerance to it? I am more interested in trying out cialis, so if you’ve tried cialis long term, let me know about building up tolerance. Meaning, as you took it longer, did you have to increase your dosage above what your original dose was?

The daily dose of cialis is 5mg, if you started with 5 or more mg per day, did you have to change your dose over time to get the same results?

I have been taking cialis for 3 years. I have never increased the dosage since. I do not take cialis everyday, im on 10mg dosage, take it only when needed. As long as I know viagra or cialis does not build tolerance unless you are diabetic. I’ve tried many drugs containing sildlenafil and tadalafil. But most of all I liked cialis. I’m loving the full erections and mental peace Cialis has given me. Oh, actually, i’m on generic cialis, not branded Eli Lilly one. I buy it off http://www.pompharmacy.com Also, if you are on cialis daily dose or just thinking about trying it, ask your doctor about 10mg dosage. Purchasing splitting higher dosage pills is a pain in the butt, but it does really save you big money. I do it and it does pay off. Good luck.

cialis users son in law claims it does work?

He is 35 an alcoholic with high blood presssure. He claims his problem is the blood pressure meds. He got some cialis. Fisrt time he took it, he then when to the store and over to his dads to visit. Hours later he showed back up at home. It was a bust. I think it is his alcoholism and not having a desire for my daughter what do you think? I’ve read the desire has to be there before anything else will happen.

If there is no desire than the meds don’t work. All they do is make it easier for the blood to get down there when he is excited. If he isn’t excited than nothing will happen.

can you take cialis and muse at the same time?

my hubby was prescribed the 20mg cialis pill, recently his urologist put him on 500mg muse. We have cialis left over from before the muse. Both work ok, the muse doesn’t last very long, the cialis lasts a day and a half but the muse gives stronger erections. I’m wondering if he can take both so we can go a few more rounds than we could with just the muse. His dr won’t be in until next week, and our daughter is away this weekend so we’d like to find out before that ;)

Has anyone done this? He has no history with those super long erections or anything, but he also prematurley ejaculates nowadays (he’s getting older, I’m only 25 so I still want it a LOT) so I’d like him to be as hard as possible so he doesn’t lose it when we do stuff to help him last longer or go for round 2.

The muse works basically the same as cialis except you are putting the muse right into the penis instead of in your blood stream (systematic) but I don’t think it will work better taking both at the same time. Muse should keep him hard longer, esp after he comes but the cialis stays in your system longer. If he comes too quickly he needs to practice getting close (to the edge i.e.) and then stopping for a few seconds to a minute to let the imminence of ejaculation subside and then continue, doing this over and over. It’s called “Edging”. Going to the brink of ejaculation and suddenly stopping to let it subside. I have done this for hours but it takes practice, practice, practice. Also have his Urologist check his testosterone level. This is very important for a mans sexual life. I take testosterone injections and it gives me the libido of a teenager and I don’t need cialis or any other ED meds.

Is “Real” Cialis Available in Bangkok, Thailand WITHOUT a Prescription?

Are there any pharmacies in the Sukhumvit area in Bangkok that will sell “authentic” (e.g., NOT counterfeit) CIALIS “over the counter?”

I am taking a trip next month December and will be staying on Soi 4 at the Happy Inn.

I would love to get “real” CIALIS (Tadalafil made by Lilly USA) in Bangkok in order to boost up my erotic performances and get really “happy” with the hot babes I’m bound to meet while there. :-)

Can I purchase “real” CIALIS at a pharmacy in Bangkok WITHOUT a prescription? I’ve heard there are certain pharmacies in Bangkok that will sell this ED drug “over the counter.” Is this true?

They have real Viagra,Cialas and Levitra. They also have generics for them as well. Viagra is about 1000-1200 baht for a pack of 4, Cialas is about 1200-1500 as is Levitra. Generics like Kamagra is 60-100 baht each. You can purchase any of the above without a Rx. Go up Soi 4 till ya get to Sukhumvit, hang a left and walk past the 7-11 but not past the Bully bar (big a$$ bull out front). There is a pharmacy there that is reasonable in price. Don’t be intimidated or scared, just walk in and ask for what ya want, trust me, you are not the first nor the last to ask for this. Becareful on trying to bring some bach to your home country, you can, but be careful. Oh ya, try the Kamagra gel, it is in a lil satchel and comes in various flavors. I like this better as the effects take about 20 minutes and last a solid 24 hours!!!!!

Viagra/Cialis question?

Given that Cialis has a much longer life (72 hours supposedly compared to 4 hours with Viagra), why would Viagra be selected over Cialis as an ED medication?

I have used Viagra and it works well with me, just a bit of flushing on the face and I can Live with that but I do know that my mate took Cialis and for the whole weekend he had really bad headaches. Bit of mood killer and he never took it again.

Its like everything else, give it a go. Could be the best thing to happen to you and your partner.

anyone use Cialis (how long)?

I was wondering, for those that use Cialis, how long you have been taking it, and is it still as effective as when you started? I’m concerned about it losing effectiveness over time and having no other options. I’m 23 and concerned about this. I have a physical cause of my ED, however I’m looking to put this tolerance build up issue to rest. Any input would be appreciated. Should i expect to be able to take this as long as i need with success? I’m on 5mg daily. sometimes i use a 20mg
